Sequoyah Electric

There is an Excel add-in used by payroll and others to transfer data in and out of Spectrum. The add-in is downloaded from Spectrum.

In Spectrum, browse to System Administration -> Utilities -> Data Exchange Download

Select an Authorization ID, Payroll uses PRU, and click Export

This will download a zip file (Chrome may block the "popup"

(Authorization IDs are manages under System Administration -> Installation -> Data Exchange)

Unzip the file and run the setup, installing any prerequisites. 

Launch Excel and you should have a Spectrum button on the top ribbon.

Click Spectrum, About, and check that the URL is  https://sequoyah.dexterchaney.com:8482/ws 

Uncheck the enhanced security button, and make sure the Authorization ID is populated.

Click Test connection
