Only place the sticker on the bottom, place the laptop upside down with the hinge AWAY from you and place the sticker in the middle of the bottom with the numbers facing AWAY from you or Charlene will be very mad. Label should be legible with the laptop facing the user, like they are lifting the bottom to peek at the tag.
Dell Laptops
On first startup, enter the BIOS via the F12 shortcut
In the BIOS, under Intergrated Devices (you may need to turn on "Advanced Mode" in the top left corner)
Turn the following options to "ON"
-Enable Thunderbolt Boot Support
-Enable Thunderbolt (and PCIe behind TBT) pre-boot modules
Exit BIOS and save changes
Launch the imaging process using PXE boot
-Plug docking station in to laptop or use a power adapter and ethernet cable
-Boot laptop and press F12
-Select, "USB NIC (IPv4)" under boot options
-Press "Enter" when the PXE boot process requests it
SCCM Imaging
-SCCM will load after PXE booting
-Enter in the password to proceed
-Select the current image, "*Windows 11.23H2" as of 08/08/2024
-Enter in the device's asset tag if its requested (machines that have had the asset tag already set will read it from the BIOS and not prompt for one
After imaging:
Sign in as .\Admin
Check for Updates, install any new drivers and firmware.
Computer will automatically be added to I_D_Newly_Imaged_Computers in Intune
will automatically install the following apps as of 08/08/2024
Autodesk DWG TrueView 2024
Autodesk Navisworks Freedom 2024
Company Portal (New)
Egnyte Desktop App
Google Chrome
HEVC Video Extensions
Lansweeper
Microsoft Office 365 Apps
Mozilla Firefox
