Due to the need to disable legacy authentication we're moving away from our old Spectrum email configuration. Rather than authenticating to Office 365 we're going to be using SMTP2Go moving forward.


Rather than a user using their own account we'll need to set up the service account in their preferences section.


Main email configuration - System Administration -> Security -> E-Mail Servers



User Configuration - Preferences (on the top bar) -> E-Mail Credentials button

E-Mail address - User's email (or whatever they want as the "From")

Select E-Mail server "SMTP2GO"

Username - "SpectrumSMTP@sequoyah.com"

Password - in LastPass



Click Test Send and you should get a confirmation.

Confirmation email will go to the email listed on the first line.


Note for Accounts Payable

Sarah and Wendy use a different account so they get a CC of all emails sent. It is SpectrumAPSMTP@sequoyah.com with all the other info the same (same password)
