Setting up mailbox auto archive takes two steps.
First you need to enable mailbox archive, then you need to assign an retention policy.
Click manage mailbox archive and toggle it on.
Click manage mailbox policies, click edit on top, select the "Default MRM" policy with how many years of retention you need.
Once this is enabled this will trigger the cleanup once a day.
