1. Must used Microsoft Edge.
  2. From the O365 Admin Center
  3. Select All admin centers
  4. Select Office 365 security & compliance center
  5. Down arrow on Search
  6. Select Content search
  7. Select Guided search
  8. Enter a name for the search
  9. Select Next
  10. On the Locations page
  11. Select Specific locations
  12. Click on text Choose users, groups,or teams
  13. On the Edit locations page, click Choose Users, groups, or teams
  14. Type the name of the user, wait a bit, and click the checkbox next to the user for a PST export, click Choose
  15. Click Done
  16. Back on the locations page click Next
  17. Add any keywords if you want to narrow your results and/or click Finish
  18. A search starts, wait for the results, usually less than a minute
  19. Click on the down arrow next to More and select Export results
  20. Pick your options on the Export results page and click Export
  21. Back to the page showing searches, select the Exports tab
  22. Select Download results
  23. Office 365 will then want to run the Microsoft.Office.Client.Discovery.UnifiedExportTool.Application - Click open, and then install the application
  24. On the Search page, there will be an Export key, copy the key, and paste the key into the eDiscovery Export Tool, and select a local destination for the file
  25. Scroll down on this page to see the Status of the search. You can download the PST at any time but waiting until it is complete, works better for me.
  26. Click start
  27. The search must first complete, this can take a bit of time depending on the size of the PST
